It's officially the 2nd of December and spoiler alert, you're in for a treat! Behind today's door is Chris Tait and her amazing short play. This book would be a great gift for anyone who would benefit from some insight in the challenges the neurodiverse community face everyday when navigating the neurotypical designed world.

Chris Tait's dynamic short play 'A Toon Built Apo Shenanigans' is utterly genius. Tait's phantasmagorical world cleverly highlights just how bizarre our arbitrary (and often unspoken) societal rules can be. The play perfectly balances the comic with the thought-provoking inviting us to see the world in a different way - one that is neither better nor worse, just different.

Tait's play champions the neurodiverse community, showing the reader the myriad of talents within the community society often overlooks for failing to fit into their fixed notions of what quantifies as a skill or talent.

'A Toon Built Apo Shenanigans' is available to buy here, or if you'd rather listen click here!

Growing up, Emily has family both in Japan and in Edinburgh so they hopped between two vastly different cultures and grew up bilingual. You are probably wondering why I have chosen to label such a shocking story of betrayal ‘inspirational’? Well, of course its because of our very own resident phoenix Mary who re-built her life, turning her husbands duplicitous behaviour into her personal mission to protect other women form his endless deception while letting these women know they are not alone. ‘The Bigamist’ is Mary’s f*** you to the world that proudly states she has nothing to be ashamed of for falling her husbands relentless gaslighting campaigns, and neither do you.

Last year, Mary published ‘The Psychopath’ - an unexpected ‘part two’ of her dealings with Will Jordan. Upon discovering that he was STILL continuing to prey on new victims, she vowed to protect these women from suffering at the hands of Will Jordan the way she had. Along her journey, Mary also equipped herself with an in-depth knowledge of psychopathy, gaining a deeper understanding of the twisted way her ex-husband’s mind works.

Teaming up with his newest fiancée in the US, Mary attempts to put an end to Will’s devastating activities. But will she and her fellow victims succeed in their ultimate goal: to bring down Will Jordan forever?
